I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday evening! Things are pretty fine here in PA...cloudy, but decent temp-wise. I wanted to share some cards I've made recently:
The top card was commissioned by a coworker for her husband. He's been feeling a bit down lately, and she wanted a card to cheer him up. The outside looks all unsuspecting and mushy-like, but on the inside is a cupcake stamp and the words, "more than cake." LOL Let's just say my coworker really likes cake! (me too!) The green card was made for my "sista from another mista", as she puts it, for her birthday this past Sunday. I was able to cut the butterfly with my Silhouette, which pleased me to no end!!!
The rainbow card was for a co worker's birthday in early April. I made the rainbow with oval Nestabilities, glued together and cut in half. To add the glitter, I used an adhesive sheet, burnished the glitter, and then set it with hairspray. Since I didn't have room to include the purple on the rainbow, I used purple ink for the sentient.
That's all I have for this evening...maybe I'll have time to check out a challenge or two and plan some cards before bed. Until next time...
Take Care,
~Marie~

Hello....again! :)
If any of you read my post from last night, you'll know that I had intended to post a card at that time, but couldn't due to stupidity...lol! Well, this evening I'm back to actually post the card! Here it is:
I sent this card to my friend and blogging buddy Darnell a week or so ago. We have agreed to send cards to each other throughout the year...so far she's up 3 to 1! I publicly apologize for that Darnell....I have been a bad, bad crafter since I started my new job! Hopefully I can get that remedied soon.
Anyhow, back to the card...I had the idea for this in my head for several weeks before actually getting around to making it. The "hello" is thanks to my *new* Silhouette Cameo, and a font I bought at the Silhouette store. The rainbow behind the letters is vellum colored with PrismaColor markers. I adhered the vellum with some thin foam tape for some slight dimension, and then mounted the white panel with thicker foam tape onto the card base. All-in-all, I am super happy with this card, and I think Darnell likes it too! I will definitely be doing similar cards in the future!
That's all I have for tonight...hopefully tomorrow, I can link you to Darnell's blog...for some reason @ Dunkin Donuts, I can't look at her site! Take care until next time...
ETA: All linked up to Darnell now! :)

Hello!
I "thought" I was going to show you a card this evening, BUT it seems that the pics I took are on my HOME computer....I thought they were still on my camera's SD card. That's what I get for thinking! So I guess I'll just peruse all of YOUR blogs, and see all your lovely creations. So, until next time...TA TA!!

Last minute Merry Monday...AGAIN!!
Hey all! I didn't think I would be able to participate in the current Merry Monday challenge, as they are looking for mistletoe. I'm pretty sure I don't have any stamps with mistletoe on it, and I thought I didn't have any punches that would work either. When I looked through my punch drawers though, I found a EK Success fern punch that seemed to look alot like the mistletoe cards from the MM design team ladies. So here is what I've done:
Nothing fancy, I just decided I would make another ornament. Well, time is running out to link this up, so off I go!
~Marie~
ETA: Now that I got this linked to Merry Monday, I would like to add this to all of Hazel's challenges:
Patterened Paper, Christmas challenge Extra, and her weekly Christmas challenge, in which she is asking for red.

Ahhhh, Saturday evening!
I hope all is well with my friends in blog land! Chad and I are hanging at Dunkin Donuts, waiting for the sock hop to be over so we can pick up the younger DD, while we dropped the older DD off at a friend's house a couple of hours ago. Ahhh, the teen years! :)
Well, I logged in here tonight to share some recent birthday cards with you:
Well, I logged in here tonight to share some recent birthday cards with you:
The first one was made for my friend Sheila, and was "pinspired" by this card. The second card was made for another coworker's birthday on the same day as Sheila's. It's inspiration came from Pinterest too, but not any one specific card. The last one was made by request for my friend Roxanne's sister's birthday. She wants to pay me for it, and I was gonna charge $4.00. Think that's fair? I welcome any opinions on that! The MS butterflies are punched out of purple cardstock and topped with vellum, in case you were wondering. The swirls are from a Darice embossing folder, and "painted" with Stickles. THAT took the better part of an evening, lemme tell ya! :) Worth it in the end though, I think! The colors in the pic look like they don't match, but IRL, they do. :)
Well, thanks for stopping by and havin' a look!
Take Care,
~Marie~
ETA: I just found this challenge: Crafting for all Seasons. They are looking for dies and punches this week, and all of my cards qualify; but as they are in one post, I'm pretty sure it'll only count as one entry. Linking up anyway! :)

This wasn't meant to be a last minute post!
Hey bloggy folks! I was gonna have this week's card for the Merry Monday challenge posted waaaay before now, BUT I ran into problems when I embossed my sentiment (it looked like a blob), so I had to carefully disassemble and save the good parts. I didn't get back into my room to reconstruct it until today, and THEN my computer wouldn't connect to the internet! So we had to wait until the stuff we had cooking was done before we could head out to DD to get on the wifi. *UGH*
Anyway, here is my card:
And here is the challenge criteria:
Such a pretty inspiration photo! OK, so I gotta get this linked up before the deadline...see ya!

ETA: In my haste to get this liked up at Merry Monday, I forgot all about Hazel's Christmas Extra!

Merry Monday #100!!!
I couldn't let this momentous milestone pass by without making a card to celebrate Merry Monday's 100th challenge!! Here is the criteria:
And here is my card:
Well, this has gotta be short and sweet as we are headed to the baby shower soon! Getting this linked up and hittin' the road! Thanks for looking!
ETA: Linking up to Hazel's Christmas extra also! :)
