Greetings fellow bloggers! I'm back tonight to share another Christmas card with you:
As my blog title suggests, this vintage type of card is not my usual "thang," but I COULD NOT RESIST this beautiful vintage Christmas image! I took some cues from Lady E (her videos are fantastic, check them out!), and really tried to rough things up and distress the heck outta them! And LAYERS! Oh so many different layers! I've got lace, an old hymnal page, a doily, the matted image, and the sentiment panel...and an arrangement of flowers, leaves, flower stem balls (do they have a proper name??), and bits of super glittery foliage. I added gold Stickles around the edge of the card as well. I started off by inking thru a snowflake embossability on the card base, but I pretty much covered all that up, hehe!
