Hello all, and Happy (almost) Friday! Can you believe it's January 30th already? Where the HECK did the first month of 2020 go?!? If it keeps up at this pace, we'll be into fall in the next week or so! LOL
Anyhow, I'm posting today as a Guest Designer for Scrappin4fun, challenge #159. As one of the Featured Creations for challenge #156 with this card, I was invited to join in for this challenge. Of course, I accepted! :) Here is the challenge graphic:
All items must be used at least once on your project, but they can also be used more than once. Here is my card:
I need a bunch of birthday cards in the first 5 months of the year, so this Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Hedgie 02 that I had in my little image basket was perfect! The patterned paper comes from a 12x12 Craft Smith Hot Buy paper pad called Honeydew from Michael's. I hate eating honeydew, or any melons, for that matter, but I love the papers in this pad! So, I colored my image to match using my alcohol markers, and loosely followed a sketch from the now closed Papertake Weekly challenge. I'm so glad the challenge owner left the pages up for us to still use the sketches...I use them quite often! The pink card stock is from the Strawberry Cream card stock pack from Recollections, and I embossed the Spellbinder's circle with the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder.
As per the requirements of the Countdown, I scrounged the felt flower brad out of my stash, sliced off a piece of sorely neglected ribbon, and glued down some pink iridescent gems in select places. I didn't think I would be able to pull it off at first, but with the advice of my lovely crafty friend Renee, from Delany Jane Cards, the card is complete. If you don't know Renee, you should really check out her blog and YouTube channel! She is fantastic! :)

Tuesday Throwdown #449: Layered Die cuts (the image panel and the pink layer behind it were cut using Spellbinders Card Creator sets A&B)
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you like what you have seen here, and will come back to visit again. Thanks so much to Rachelle for allowing me to be a guest designer at Scrapping4fun; I had a great time! :)
Until we meet again...Take care, and God Bless!
