Season's Greetings

Happy Sunday!  I'm back to share another Christmas card:

This was not my original plan for this card, but it still turned out OK.  I got some Ranger sticky embossing powder that I used for the sentiment and added a Recollections glitter that best matched the glitter paper.  I'll have to try this again with other stamps, as I had some trouble getting this to look right.  Speaking of the glitter paper, I used the MS Punch Around the Page snowflake set around the edges.  The white layer underneath that is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  Not a very exciting card, really, but it sure does sparkle!  :)

I'm adding this card to these challenges:

Winter Wonderland:  Let's Get Sentimental
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra:  Anything Goes for Christmas
Holly Jolly:  Color Choice - Monochromatic
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge:  Getting Ready for Christmas (there's a tiny ornament hanging from the "S" in Season's)
Completely Christmas:  Anything goes w/a twist:  Embossing (the sentiment is heat embossed, and the white layer underneath the glitter paper is dry embossed)
Penny Black and More:  Anything Goes
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long:  Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, and take care!

Silver Bells...

Hello to all my fellow bloggers/card makers!  I hope your Saturday went swimmingly!  It's COLD here in PA, but Chad and I went to a Christmas parade this morning anyway.  Of course, the day also included a visit to Michael's to get some crafty goodies!  :)

Anyway onto the purpose of this post...my card:

I think this card came together quicker than any other card I've made in a while!  I rearranged the elements of the a2 Christmas bell card Silhouette file, and designed this in Silhouette Studio; first printing the words out, then cutting the bells and mat shape in the Cameo.  Su-WEET!  I absolutely LOVE everything I can do with the Cameo and the free software!  Then I just layered it onto a piece of silver glitter paper from American Crafts, and adhered it all to the 5.5 x 5.5 card base.  DONE!

I'm adding this shiny card to the following challenges:

Winter Wonderland:  Let's Get Sentimental
Merry Monday #135:  Christmas Bells
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra:  Anything goes for Christmas
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge:  Getting ready for Christmas
Holly Jolly:  Color choice (monochrome)
Crafty Calendar Challenge:  All About Christmas
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long:  Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!

Sparkly and Sweet Patches

Good afternoon everyone!  I'm back today to share another cutie-pie Stamp Fairy image on a card:

This fella is named Patches, and isn't he holding a HUGE candy cane??  LOL!  He's my second favorite bear from Stamp Fairy.  The patterned paper is from the Recollections Sugar Plums 6x6 pad, the red glitter paper is from American Crafts, and I used Candy Cane Stickles on the red stripes of the candy cane.  I also dabbed a little yellow Stickles on the stars.  The sketch is from Papertake Weekly, #78...why did I not find this blog earlier??  Using an already designed sketch makes it so much easier for me!

This card is being added to these other challenges as well:

Papertake Weekly:  2 or 4 legs
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra:  Anything Goes for Christmas
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge:  Keep it flat (able to put thru the mail w/out extra postage)
Sparkles Christmas:  Christmas Candy
Cutie Pie Challenge:  Festive Furry Friends
Creative Card Crew:  Christmas Joy
 Crafty Calendar:  All About Christmas

Thanks for taking the time to stop in...Have a great day, and hug your loved ones!

Barry the Bear is visiting!

Hi and happy Wednesday!  It feels like Monday to me, as I was off Monday and Tuesday...anyway I'm here to share another cute card with you all:

I actually made this card before the one in my previous post, and I liked the Papertake Sketch #45 so much, I used it again!  This image is also from the now closed Stamp Fairy digi store, and his name is Barry.  He is my favorite Stamp Fairy character!  I don't know what exactly it is about Barry, but he is so adorable!  I think Barry and his little robin friend are gonna build a snowman!  Again, I used Snow Tex and glitter together for lots of texture and sparkle:  LOVE IT!

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra:  Anything Goes for Christmas
Jingle Belles:  Great Outdoors
Completely Christmas:  Anything Goes w/a twist:  Let's see some Blue!
Papertake Weekly:  2 or 4 legs
Creative Card Crew:  Christmas Joy
The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog:  Festive Furry Friends

Thanks again for stopping by!  Take care, and hug your loved ones today!  :)

Holly Jolly BINGO

Good Sunday morning!  I just have a few minutes to type up this post, as I have to get ready to leave shortly.  I wanted to share this card with you:

I used Papertake Sketch #45 for this one, and an image from the recently closed Stamp Fairy shop.  This is George.   It looks like he and his little birdie buddy are ready to sweep some snow from the sidewalk!  I used Snow Tex for the first time on this card, and I like it!  I really like that you can add glitter to it while it is still wet for the shiny effect...not that you can tell here!  I'm entering this into the current Holly Jolly challenge of BINGO, using the line down the middle:  Texture, 2 designer papers, and punches.  The texture is from the Snow Tex, the 2 designer papers come from the Jack Frost 6x6 pad from American Crafts, and the snowflake punches are from Martha Stewart.

I have to get going now, but I will be linking this to other challenges later on.

ETA:  And the other challenges are:

Winter Wonderland:  Frosty the snowman
Christmas at Sweet Stampin':  Snowpeople
Jingle Belles:  Great Outdoors
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Extra:  Anything Goes Christmas
Completely Christmas:  Anything Goes w/a twist...Let's see some blue!
Squirrel's World:  Snow-Vember
Creative Card Crew:  Christmas Joy

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to hug your loved ones!
