"Dashing thru the snow...

in a one horse open sleigh, o'er the fields we go, laughing all the way!  Ha ha ha!"   Do I have you wanting to go caroling yet?  No?   Well it may just be a *bit* soon for caroling, but not too soon for snow inspired cards/projects over at Jingle Belles!  :)  If you haven't taken a look at the entries so far, you better head over there after you're done looking at mine!  Speaking of, here it is:

This is George from StampFairy, performing one of those tasks that comes with the purty white stuff, shoveling!  He looks like he is having a good time doing it tho!  Not a lotta hoopla on this card, just some cool dp I got at Target, some inking around edges, and a snowflake punched with my newest acquisition, Martha Stewart's HUGE Himalyan Snowflake punch!!  Added a button from my stash on top, and some denim twine from my win some months ago at The Twinery.  :)  That's it!  Headed out as soon as Chad comes home to get my hair cut, so I'll get this posted and linked up.  Don't forget to check out everyone's fabulous entries!  :)  Take care!

Lilac and Lace in a Winter Wonderland...

Hello, and happy Thursday, bloggy friends!  I am SO HAPPY it's Thursday beacuse this is the first day I've had off from work in 10 days!  But enough about work...how bout my Winter Wonderland card for this week's challenge?  Here it is:
I kept it really simple.  I used a Lacy Circle Spellbinders to back my spritzed store-bought ornament.  It is hard to see in the pic, but the sentiment is in the lower right corner, stamped in SU Lavender Lace.  I couldn't find any of my "real" lace to put on my card, so I went with products with lace in the name.  Plus I kinda see snowflakes as lacy creations...well that's my reasoning anyway!

I gotta keep this short, as the cutoff for entering the WW challenge is looming!  TFL, and take care until next time!

Christmas Kitty for Winter Wonderland

Hello bloggy friends!  I'm posting today to show you my card for the Winter Wonderland challenge for this week, Christmas Pets.  Here is my card:
My image is from Meljen's Designs and it's called "Stocking Kitten".  Isn't she sweet?  If you've never checked out Meljen's Designs before, you really should!  Melissa draws the CUTEST digis!  The green dp is from the Jingle Bells pad from Recollections.  The sentiment is Studio G, and the ink is Memento Lady Bug.  I colored the seam binding with a combo of Lady Bug and Rhubarb Stalk to get the right tone.  Note to self:  Next time wear gloves!!  LOL  I have to say that seam binding makes REALLY nice bows!  I added some puffy fabric paint to the fluffy part of the stocking, and sprinkled some glitter on top for shine.
Well, I'm gonna get this posted, and then get something to eat...I'm HUNGRY!  Take care until next time!

O 70....BINGO!

So this week at Jingle Belles, we're playing BINGO...here's the card:
I chose to go straight across the top.  Here is my card:

Santa, check.  Stamping, check.  Bling, check, check!  If sequins don't say "bling" to you, then I don't know WHAT does!  :)  I'm still following the Merry Monday sketch with this one, cuz it was still in my head.

Well, I guess that's all I wanted to say, except that my image is from StampFairy.  Doesn't Santa remind you of a Weeble?  ;)

Take care until next time!
