BUGABOO OLDIE BUT GOODIE DAY!

Hello!  Stopping by the blog quickly again to share what I made for the Catch The Bug Blog Oldie but Goodie post:

Sorry for the poorer quality of photos of late, but these cards are getting made in a pinch before bed time!  This cute image is Raggedy Critters - Bunny, and honestly, this is the first time I have used her!  Can you believe it?  She is so cute, why would anyone wait so long to color her up??  I have to admit, I kinda wish I had used another color...I don't know if it's me, or the markers I have, but I have one HECK of a time blending with purple!  I am still digging into my Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 pad from Lawn Fawn, and having lots of fun doing it!  LOL!

Challenges:

CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
Love to Craft #32:  ATG (#5)
Animal Friends #72:  Use a Rabbit
If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #113:  Inspired by that gorgeous purple!

The Sisterhood of Crafters:  Celebrate Spring!
Di's Digi Design:  Make it Girly
The Paper Shelter #376:  It's a Spring Thing!

Thanks so much for stopping by again today!  I appreciate it so much!  Check out what the DT has created over at Catch The Bug!

Christmas With The Cuties, March 2019---White on White

Hello all, and welcome to my blog today!  I hope you are all doing well, and making the most out of life!  I  am stopping by today to share my latest card for the Christmas With The Cuties challenge, where we want to see  WHITE ON WHITE on your Christmas cards.  Here is mine:

Our sponsor for this month is

This digi image is called Welcome Christmas, and he is my favorite Crafty Sentiments Designs image in my collection.  He is so easy to color, and goes with everything!  So, for our WOW challenge, I thought that light blues would be appropriate to color this guy, and I used Star Dust Stickles to give him some sparkle.  I also used my white gel pen to add texture to the blue parts of his winter gear, and some Tulip puffy paint on the cuffs of his mittens.  White on white (or any tone on tone) cards need to be all about texture, so I used a Recollections printable glitter paper on top of the card base.  Then I embossed a small scrap of white paper with a small snowflake embossing folder.  The circle die cut image was mounted onto a Spellbinders Petite scalloped circle and popped up on foam squares.  The Tim Holtz Christmas Phrases #1 sentiment was cut from 5 pieces of Recollections 110# card stock, and then a top layer of the same glitter paper used on the base.  I wanted to make sure it stood out from the base really well!

CHALLENGES:

Christmas at Sweet Stampin':  ATG Christmas (#2)
12 Months of Christmas Link Up #51:  ATG or use brads, buttons, bows
Merry Little Christmas:  ATG Christmas (#3)
ABC Christmas:  E for embellishments, F for fabric, G for glitz
Christmas Card Throwdown Technique challenge:  Use embossing folder for background
Fab 'n' Funky #432:  Christmas
CHNC #430:  ATG Christmas or inspired by a Christmas song
Winter Wonderland:  Fuzzy Wuzzy
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday:  ATG or twist to use a rainbow

Well, that should be all for today.  Thank you for stopping by my blog, and if you haven't already, come on over to Christmas With The Cuties and play with us!

Take care and God Bless!

CCAYR MARCH 2019 CHALLENGE---MISTLETOE/KISSES/LOVE

Howdy fellow bloggers!  How have you been?  My family and I have been doing pretty well, with the exception of my 18-year-old daughter, who has a case of strep throat...again.  This is the 3rd time she has had it within the past year.  I am hoping at some point in time that she will be able to have her tonsils removed, as they are quite large, and maybe that will alleviate the problem!

Anyhow, I came by today to share with you my latest creation for the Christmas Crafts All Year Round challenge:  Under the Mistletoe, Kisses, Love.

I didn't use mistletoe on my card, but I really do like this Bugaboo image, which is from the Snowman Set 2 digi set.  It really speaks "love" to me!  I used this image on a Christmas card in 2017, where I used mostly red, and made the bird look like a robin.  In 2019, the bird has changed into a bluebird, and the colors switched to blue, green, and purple.  I love both versions!  :)  The sentiment is a mixture of Lawn Fawn (Christmas), and WPLus9 (hugs, and the small heart images).  The patterned paper comes from the 12x12 Northern Lights Recollections paper pad.  I love that pad!!  The purple card stock is from Recollections as well.

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #51:  ATG or optional twist of brads, buttons, bows
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
ABC Christmas:  E for embellishments, F for fabric, and G for glitz (Stickles on the snow)
Jingle Belles:  Rockin Robin (add a bird)
Sweet Stampin:  Use green
Winter Wonderland:  Fuzzy Wuzzy (snowman's hat)
Simon Says Wednesday:  Whatever the Weather
CHNC #429:  ATG or option to not use patterned paper

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Please stop on over to the CCAYR blog and join in our fun challenge, if you haven't already!

Take care, and God Bless!

My Second Guest Design Team Project for Bugaboo---March 2019

Hey all, and Happy Saturday!  I hope you are all doing well.  The past few days have been pretty nice here in Pennsylvania, but today and tomorrow are back down in the 40's.  It's progress toward Spring though, so I'll take it!

Anyway, the current challenge at the Catch The Bug blog is a rousing game of BINGO:

And here is the card I made:

I went with the far right vertical column of (adorable!!) Bugaboo image, flower, and stripes.  How lucky is it that I got all that in one image? BTW, the image is called Scene It--Easter.  I colored this up with various alcohol markers, and added some sparkle here and there with a clear Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I very recently ordered both the A and B sets of Spellbinders Card Creator layer dies, which I used to cut my image layer and the pink layer.  I have to say, I wish I had done this years ago!  These dies make it SO MUCH easier to get my layers just right...it just makes me a happy card maker!  :)

Challenges:

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Please make sure you stop on over to the Catch The Bug blog to check out what the design team has created, and to join in on the fun!  :)

Take care and God Bless,

I have a surprise for you!

And I must say, it was a surprise to me as well!  I was chosen to be the SURPRISE Guest Designer at the Bugaboo challenge blog for the month of March!

This is SO COOL!  I absolutely LOVE Bugaboo images, and I use them quite often on my cards.  So without further blabbering, here is what I have made for the Anything Goes challenge:

I actually had the Bobblehead Reindeer sitting on my desk for a bit, and thought, "OK, time to get colored!"  With the head area being so large, I had to go over it 3 times to get a good blend, but I am happy with the end result.  I used some Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas patterned paper behind my reindeer, and placed some slivers of coordinating green card stock along each side.  I used that same green card stock for the sentiment, which is also Lawn Fawn.  (I love Lawn Fawn, too!)  Pretty simple card, which I love!

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #51:  ATG, or option to use brads, buttons, and bows
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
Di's Digi Challenge:  Include an Animal
CHNC #427:  ATG or vintage/shabby chic
Papercraft Challenges#31:  All the Critters

Thanks for stopping by today...please stop over to the Catch the Bug Challenge blog, and join in the fun!

Take care, and God Bless!
