Christmas With The Cuties: FOR A CHILD

Hello friends!  This month's theme at Christmas With The Cuties is "For a Child," and here is my card:

Our sponsor was Pink Gem Designs, which will sadly be closing up shop on October 4, 2018.  If you want anything you'd better head on over there and stock up!  For my card, I chose to use Penguin with Candy Cane.  I wanted to color the image myself to match my patterned paper, which comes from the 6x6 "Winter Whimsy" Love, Nicole paper pad.  I just wanted to point out that the layer on top of the card base is actually a dark purple.

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #45:  ATG or optional have a "TWEET" Christmas theme
ABC Christmas:  "S" is for snow, "T" is for teal
HIMCR #371:  Any Holiday
CHNC #404:  ATG or optional use patterned paper

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!  God Bless!

Sasayaki Glitter DT reminder: ATG

Hello all!  I am here today to share with you what I made for the Sasayaki Glitter September reminder post for the current challenge:

The lighting in this photo is terrible, so I apologize for that.  I just can never seem to get it right, even with photo editing software!  But anyway, for the reminder post, which is Anything Goes, I went back to the super adorable Winter Bunnies image that I used back in March for this card.  Looking back at that card, it seems that I like to color that second bunny from the left in gray!  LOL!  I went with a red color scheme for this version of the card, and the same layout as the previous card.  I really, really love that Lawn Fawn Merry Christmas sentiment from Christmas Dreams!!  The patterned paper is also from Lawn Fawn, from the Perfectly Plaid Christmas 6x6 pad.  *love*  If I could afford to buy all the stamps and papers from Lawn Fawn, I most definitely would!  Their stuff is just so dang CUTE!!!

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #45:  ATG or optional "TWEET Christmas" theme
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
HLS Christmas:  ATG or optional "tree" twist
HLS:  ATG with Dies
ABC Christmas:  "S" for "snow", and /or "T" for "teal"
CHNC #404:  ATG Christmas or optional "use some patterned paper"
Jingle Belles:  Let it Snow!
Animal Friends:  In the Forest

Thanks for stopping by today!  God Bless!

CCAYR Christmas Belles DT post time!

Hey all!  I am a bit behind in getting this post up, but I still wanted to share with you what I created for the CCAYR "Anything but a card" challenge:

I decided on an ornament for my non-card project, and for this one, I went waaaay back to an old technique.  I recently bought 3 packs of pretty German napkins for $.25 apiece, so I did some YouTube research, and found a few videos to go by.  I adhered the napkin to my chipboard die cut Spellbinders ornament using an adhesive sheet, smooshed Versamark ink all over it and sprinkled sticky embossing powder on top and heat set.  Then I sprinkled some DecoArt Glamour Dust glitter on top of that, and heat set it again.  This ornament is SUPER DUPER SPARKLEY!!!!  LOL!  As I always do when making these ornaments, I cut a piece of gold shiny paper for the top of the ornament, and also used the same gold paper for the top layer of the sentiment. To cover up the ugly back, I die cut a piece of sparkly white paper and glued that on.   I used my Crop-a-dile to make the hole, and then used some gold ribbon from my stash for the hanger.

Challenges:

MIUCB #17:  ATG or optional "3 or more layers" twist
Winter Wonderland:  Use ribbon or twine
The Merry Christmas Challenge:  ATG
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday:  ATG

Thanks so much for stopping by this evening.  I hope everyone is staying safe, and prayers for those dealing with the effects of hurricane Florence.

God Bless!

Welcome to another Sasayaki Glitter Challenge! :)

Hey bloggers!  How are you doing?  I hope all is well on this Monday...TUESDAY!  That's right, it's Tuesday...having Monday off for Labor Day sure throws me off!  But it's nice to have a short week to look forward to!  ;)

At Sasayaki Glitter, we are creating school themed cards this month, so here is the card I made:

I used the adorable Mia Going to School image for my card, and some super cute Miss Kate Cuttables cut files and digi papers.  Mia was colored with alcohol markers, and I have to say that I am super stoked about how her jeans came out!  :)

Challenges:

Mix It Up #17:  ATG or optional "3 or more layers" theme
C.R.A.F.T:  Back to School

Thanks for joining me today!  Please stop by the Sasayaki Glitter challenge blog and join in on our School-themed challenge!  We would love to have you!  Take care, and God Bless!
