So many great sponsors! 😊

My job has been crazy busy the past few months, and I did not have time to create a new card for the start of the linky party, so I am sharing my 1st card for Sketch 71:

Everything used to create this card is from My Creative Time, except for the card base, which is Accent Opaque 100lb cardstock, the action wobbler that the super cute Gingie baker is mounted on, and the candy cane he is holding, which comes from Hobby Lobby. I really adore Emma's products from My Creative Time; they are so dang cute, and her dies are always unique and fun! The specific products used are:

Pretty Scallop Rectangle Frame
Ginger Doily Dies
Ginger Chefs 6x6 paper pad (retired)
It's Cookie Season (the dies that coordinate with the stamp set also coordinate with the above-mentioned paper pad)
4" Circle Card Dies
Cozy Holiday Wishes Stamps & Dies

If I had more time, I would make more versions of this card with the other pretty papers and cute gingies in the paper pad, as this sketch is too much fun to create with!

Alright, now it's your turn to make a Christmas or holiday card and link it up to the blog post at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers blog. The Spring Linky party had a total of 421 entries by the end of its run, so let's see if we can beat that number, shall we?  I know we can do it, so let's goooo!

Until next time, take care of yourselves and each other.

Hello, my friends! It's time to SPRING INTO CHRISTMAS with the team at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers!

Isn't that a great bunch of sponsors? 😄

To start things off, I created this card using products from 3 of our linky party sponsors.

The Snow stencil is from A Colorful Life Designs, and the white glitter snowflakes were die cut using the Mini Snowflakes set from Lawn Fawn. All of the inks I used are from Gina K. Designs. I started off by heavily inking "Let it snow!" with In The Navy and lightly inking the snowflakes with Sea Glass. After I cleaned the ink off the stencil, I replaced it on top of the panel and covered the snowflakes in Recollections brand white glitter paste. When the paste was dry, I die cut the stenciled panel with one of the Wonky Stitched Rectangles from Whimsy Stamps. Since it really bugs me when the insides of letters are missing (even though I know they can't be part of the stencil), I used a white gel pen to add the centers of the "e's" and "o's." It isn't perfect, but it made me happy to add the letter centers back in! 😊 The Mini Snowflakes were sprinkled in where I thought they looked good, and I glued the panel onto a slightly larger navy mat.

I think this card would be perfect for any type of winter holiday card, even for a winter birthday!

OK, now it's your turn to start building your 2026 Christmas card stash, if you haven't already...come join us at the {BYSHC} blog and add your makes to the linky party!  It's really a win/win situation...you get to increase your Christmas card stash, AND you have a chance to win one of the many amazing prizes being offered by the sponsors!  What are you waiting for?  LET'S GO!
