Sasayakit Glitter mid way DT post...LATE AGAIN!

My apologies for being late with this post, but here is what I made for the reminder post at Sasayaki Glitter this month:

I made this card using Snowflake Bunnies.  I tried to make them look fuzzy, since that's what the digi implies, but I think I just succeeded in making them look blurry, LOL!  Anyway, I colored them to match the paper that is from the Winter Whimsy 6x6 love, Nicole paper pad.  The layer beneath the image is a scrap of white I had laying around that I embossed with a Darice snowflake folder, and inked with Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean Oxide inks.  After the inking, I splashed some drops of water on and blotted them off after a few seconds.

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #46:  ATG or optional gear up for winter theme
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
CHNC #408:  ATG or use sentiment as focal point

Thanks for stopping by again!  Check out the Sasayaki Glitter blog, as there is still time to join in!

God Bless!

Christmas With The Cuties Time Again!

Hello, and welcome!  I hope you are having a good week; mine has been OK so far.  I would like to show you what I made for this month's Christmas With The Cuties theme, which is "Wrap Up Warm."

I used a snowman digi from Crafty Sentiments called "Welcome Christmas".  I just love this guy...he looks so darn happy!  I chose a paper from the Winter Whimsy 6x6 Love, Nicole paper pad, and colored the image to match.  Since this image is pretty simple, I decided to really dress up his scarf by adding white gel pen and clear gel pen dots all over it.  It really sparkles in the light!  The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps "Merry and Joy" set.

Challenges:

12 Months of Christmas Link Up #46:  Gear Up for Winter
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
Happy Little Stampers Christmas:  ATG or optional twist to use ribbon
CHNC #408:  ATG or option to make the sentiment the focal point

Thanks for joining me here today.  If you haven't already, please check us out over at Christmas With The Cuties, and join in on the fun!

God Bless!

Christmas Crafts All Year Round, and some Jingle Belles *PINK*

Hey all! I'm here tonight to share this card with you:

Our challenge at CCAYR this month is to use Santa, an elf, or a fairy on our creations.  I had this cutie from Bugaboo printed and die cut, so I colored him up in pinks to go along with the Jingle Belles challenge that Stef and Lauren do every October for breast cancer awareness.  This card came together pretty easily, as I had the scalloped circle and the snowflake already die cut.  This patterned paper is my "go-to" for anything pink for Christmas.  I just cut a pink layer for underneath it, stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment using my MISTI, and added some sparkle to the snowflake with my Spectrum Noir clear pen.  A gem in the center finishes it off nicely.

Challenges:

Jingle Belles:  PINK Christmas for the cure
CHN Patterned Paper:  ATG using patterned paper
HLS Christmas:  ATG or optional twist to use ribbon
The Cutie Pie challenge:  Going Girly
The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up #46:  ATG or optional gear up for winter theme
Sparkles Christmas #93:  For the kids
CHNC #407:  ATG or optional theme to use stockings

Thanks for joining me today!  Please visit the CCAYR blog to see what's been created so far, and please join us!  Also, there is still a little bit of time to join in with the Jingle Belles to help move us closer to a cure for breast cancer!

God Bless~

Sasayaki Glitter October Post: Halloween or Harvest

Greetings, fellow bloggers!  Can you believe that it is OCTOBER ALREADY?!?!?  I know that I am somewhat in a state of disbelief that now there are less than 3 months until Christmas!  Are you guys ready?  Have you started your cards/projects yet?  Time is a-tickin'!  In the meantime though, while panic sets in, here is my creation for the Sasayaki Glitter October challenge of Halloween or Harvest:

I think this is dang cute, if I do say so myself!  LOL!  The pumpkin shape is from a Treasure Box Designs cut file called Pumpkin Faces.  It comes with all the layers you need for the pumpkin, as well as 4 fun faces.  I just wanted to use the gourd for my project, as a cute base for these adorable HedgehogsThe original image has a butterfly to the upper left of the momma hedgie, but I just eliminated that for my purposes today.  I used alcohol markers to do my coloring, and used the image on the Etsy site as a reference.  The edges of the pumpkin are all sponged with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink, as well as the edges of my image circle.  I used a scrap of green glitter cardstock for my stem.  The MISTI was used to stamp the sentiment using the same ink.

Challenges:

Animal Friends #67:  Autumn/Halloween
Mix It Up #18:  ATG, and/or Monochrome twist
A Gem of a Challenge #228 (final challenge):  Halloween/Halloween colors
Crafty Gals Corner #175:  Anything FALL Goes
Hiding in My Craft Room #372:  Freestyle (ATG)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  Please make some time to stop by the Sasayaki Glitter blog to check out the other DT projects, and to participate with us!  God Bless!
