Noel

Good Saturday morning!  I hope all is well, wherever you are!  Here is another Christmas card for my stash this year:

I am trying this year to be more conscious about recycling used Christmas cards, so here is one of them.  I even had a couple of my coworkers ask me if I wanted their old cards...couldn't pass that up!  I thought this image of the Holy Family was just so pretty in blue, and perfect to re-use.  The dp is from my favorite 12x12 pad, K & Co's Winter Wonderland.  This paper was the whole reason I got two of these pads several years ago.  I backed every layer with the darkest blue Recollections cardstock I have, and used the Lacey Circles Spellbinders to mat my image and the Papertrey Ink Signature Christmas sentiment.  The "Noel" was stamped in one of my newest Distress Ink acquisitions, Chipped Sapphire, and I edged the white circle with it too.

  8. I save all my old cards too - they are great for just this purpose! It seems such a shame to throw them away when you can recycle them and make a beautiful card like this! Well done!

  12. This card is a beauty. So blessed you joined our last Challenge and hope you join us again in our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with the encouragement only the Word of God can provide in James 1:12 which tells us, "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." Have a blessed weekend.
