Hello fellow crafters! I hope your day is going well! I know that today is a somber day for many of us, as we remember what happened on this date in 2001. For me, it is also a celebration of life, as my Dad's birthday was today, and my older daughter turns 21 today! I can't believe it's been 21 years since I gave birth to my firstborn daughter! Of course I daydreamt about this day in her early years, and wondered what she would be like at this age...and now the day has arrived! I am super proud of her, and can't wait to take her out to celebrate with my hubby this weekend!
Thanks for letting me ramble on about my daughter! Now I want to share the card I made for this week's Humor Me Wednesday:
With this cute card, I am celebrating Teddy Bear Day, which was on Monday. This image is called Watermelon Butterfly Bear. Isn't he just so cute? I love this guy! I colored him up with alcohol markers, and added some white puffy paint to the rim of his hat. I just like the look of that lately! His wings were coated with Wink of Stella. I used Sketch Saturday #580 for my layout:
This seems to me to be a really good sketch for showcasing an image! :)
