Isn't that a great bunch of sponsors? π
To start things off, I created this card using products from 3 of our linky party sponsors.
The Snow stencil is from A Colorful Life Designs, and the white glitter snowflakes were die cut using the Mini Snowflakes set from Lawn Fawn. All of the inks I used are from Gina K. Designs. I started off by heavily inking "Let it snow!" with In The Navy and lightly inking the snowflakes with Sea Glass. After I cleaned the ink off the stencil, I replaced it on top of the panel and covered the snowflakes in Recollections brand white glitter paste. When the paste was dry, I die cut the stenciled panel with one of the Wonky Stitched Rectangles from Whimsy Stamps. Since it really bugs me when the insides of letters are missing (even though I know they can't be part of the stencil), I used a white gel pen to add the centers of the "e's" and "o's." It isn't perfect, but it made me happy to add the letter centers back in! π The Mini Snowflakes were sprinkled in where I thought they looked good, and I glued the panel onto a slightly larger navy mat.
I think this card would be perfect for any type of winter holiday card, even for a winter birthday!
