Hello bloggy friends! I would say "happy Monday," but I don't see much that's happy about any Monday! LOL! It is nice and sunny and warm out, so that's a good thing.
Anyway, here is my card for the CCAYR reminder post for our "Tree" challenge:
I had been wanting to make one of these snowflake trees for a long time now, so this challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity. I have a zippered sandwich bag full of snowflake punches in my stash, and that's where these came from. If you happen to enlarge the picture, you can see that I punched the snowflakes from textured card stock. The blings in the middle of the snowflakes are from love, Nicole, which you can get at A. C. Moore. I love the textured look of these!! I didn't want to do much else to the card, to let the snowflake tree be the star. I blended Broken China Distress Oxide ink around the edges of my card base before adhering the panel. I also used it to stamp the Lawn Fawn sentiment, using my MISTI to ensure great ink coverage.
