Welcome crafty friends! It's Saturday, so we have a new challenge for you over at Catch the Bug: School's Out/Teacher Appreciation. Here is the card I have made for the challenge:
Teachers really do deserve so much of our appreciation, don't they? They do lots to shape our future in the form of educating our children. And these days, sadly, it seems that they do so at great risk, and for little money. With this in mind, I created this simple "thank you" card using the Thank You Tulip Block image. I asked my work friends what colors to use for the flowers, and they suggested orange and yellow. The rest of the card is all in yellow, with the base layer coming from an ombre paper pad, the patterned paper from a K and Co. pad, and the yellow square under the image from my huge stash of Recollections card stock. The image itself was colored with alcohol markers.
