Hello friends!  Welcome back!  It's Monday, so that means it's Anything But a Card day at the Catch the Bug blog!  This is ALWAYS my most difficult prompt to create for, as I hardly ever use anything other than cards, but I gave it the old college try with the ornament I made for this week:

I had this Kidz Christmas Boy and his Dog image already printed out from the Christmas chaos week, but I never got the chance to use it.  This seemed like the perfect reason to create an ornament!  I colored the image using alcohol markers in traditional Christmas colors...I think this fella and his pup plan on helping Santa deliver the presents!  Santa probably needs all the help he can get, don't you think? I also used Gelly Roll pens in white for the eyes, and gold glitter for the belt buckle and ornament topper.  😀 I used Spellbinders oval and scalloped oval dies to cut the image panel and the red mat.  For the ornament shape, I used 2011 Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments.  I cut 2 from chipboard, and one from the patterned paper that (again) comes from the Whimsy Christmas 12x12 paper pad.  The topper area was cut from a piece of gold glitter card stock from my stash.  I inked the edges of the ornament shape with some Mowed Lawn Oxide ink, so it wouldn't look so boring.  Star Dust Stickles was added to all the fur trim on the boy's outfit, and also to the snow.
