Hello friends, and welcome back to my blog! Thanks for coming to visit with me! I have some exciting news to share with you...I am the newest member of the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Design Team! I was looking for something new to get me out of a rut, and this opportunity arose at just the right time! I love coloring critters, so this will be a fun adventure for me. Here is the card I've created for my first DT assignment:
I used the cute Stanley's Bauble image that was a freebie way back in November of 2014. He's an adorable little guy, holding that huge ornament. It looks to me like he is ready to help decorate a giant tree! I used an old Papertake Weekly sketch (#96) to design my card. The patterned papers come from the same 12x12 Recollections paper pad that I have been using lately called Whimsy Christmas. I just love the bright colors in this pad, and the ornament paper goes perfectly with Stanley's Bauble! I used Recollections red cardstock to mat all the layers. Stanley was colored using alcohol markers. I also added a few white gel pen accents, and clear Wink of Stella to the ornament. The 3 small ornaments in the upper right corner of the image panel were die cut using Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornament dies, and some gold glitter cardstock from my stash.
