Tis Christmas Eve...

are you all ready? I think I finally am...got the DH's card done (after waiting until next to the last minute!), and made inserts for the girls' cards. We have been to Christmas Eve service, and now are watching "A Christmas Carol"...the BEST one, with George C. Scott as Scrooge. Most excellent! Here is a pic of the girls after we got home tonight...ain't they purty? Not that I'm prejudiced or anything...lol!

Also, here are a couple pics of DH's card...a front view and a more sideways view to show some of the glitter. This was made using a napkin that I bought last year, just for this purpose! :) I hope he likes it! Anyway, to all my friends out there in blog-land, Merry Christmas! May you all be blessed with peace and joy, and remember the reason for this season. Toodles!

Three more wonderful cards!

I have just recently received these beauties in the mail from the following awesome ladies:
The snowman came from my Paper Craft Planet friend, Marion. What a lovely lady she is! All her cards are fantastic, and when I specifically asked for this one, she agreed to send it to me! Thanks Marion!
The holly card is from another CoC friend, Annette. She colored all the leaves and berries, and the branch so very well! Thanks Annette!
And the cute little mouse came from CoC member and friend Suzy. Isn't he adorable all bundled up for winter? Thank you Suzy!
Well, only (almost) 2 more days to go until the BIG DAY! Are you all done with your preparations? I finally got DH's secret presents wrapped, but still need to wrap the ones he already knows about, lol! The girls' presents are all wrapped and waiting...too bad they have to wait until after I get home from work that day, sometime after 10 AM. Stinks, huh? Such is life, I guess. Well, until next post, toodles all!

Christmas cards...

I wish I knew how to arrange this better! Anyhow, here are the Christmas cards I have received to celebrate the season. That gorgeous iris folded tree up top is from my friend Robyn from Circle of Crafters . The cutie patootie card with the caroling trio is from Dolly, another friend from CoC. The adorable snowman is from Jill, yet another CoC friend. I have made alot of friends on that site! Hmm, now that I think about it, all these cards are from CoC friends...DUH! Ok, so on with it then...the angel choir is from Mary; the snowmen plate card is from Janet; the dove is from Cathy; the bunny and birdie are from my bestest bud Carol; and last but not least the Christmas Cheer card is from Pat. I cherish all these wonderful cards from my wonderful friends...in case I don't get back on to blog before the BIG DAY, Merry Christmas to everyone! Toodles!

Long time...

no blogging! I just wanted to pop on to show you my latest cards.
The snowflake card was requested by my boss, for a winter wedding in her family. I saw one similar on the Cuttlebug Challenge blog fairly recently, and thought it would be perfect for such an occasion. My boss really likes it anyway! As for the Thinking of You card, I was inspired by the totally awesome Jennifer McGuire for this one! Her style is so crisp and clean...I just love it! This card was also requested by my boss ( I think she's one of my biggest fans!), for a friend who's going thru a rough time. Well, thanks for having a look, and I hope you stop by again! Toodles!

Sick....

Well, no card- creating for me until I feel better. I'm not sure what I have, but it sure is knocking me for a loop! I still manage to go to work, although I should stay home like the governor says, lol...my voice isn't the best tonight, so we'll see if I can even talk tomorrow! Take care all of you out there in blog-land! Until I post again~toodles!

Look Ma! I made a new card! LOL

A good friend and coworker's birthday is on Thursday, and it is tradition for me to make her a card. It's also tradition for DH and I to put her name on all the local radio stations...hehehe! Hey, last year it paid off...she won dinner for 2 at Hoss's! :) I enjoy her embarassment immensely! Ok, well onto the card...the yummy cupcake and sentiment are from Inkadinkado. I'm not very happy with how I colored the icing...or at least how it photographs! If you tilt the card toward the light, it is nice and shiny! For the "doily", I used the Martha Stewart 3-dot scallop punch set. Black ink is Stazon, lavender ink is Lavender Lace from SU! The 2 DP's are digital papers made by Tracey over at Fred, She Said. If you've never checked out her stuff, you really need to! She is an awesome artist! OK all, until I post again, toodles!

Some Dustin Pike cards...

Still no "brand" new cards made, but I will show ya these Dustin Pike cards made within the past month or so. :)
The snowman one is my absolute favorite of them all...and I may just keep it for myself! I know I'm not the only one who feels that way about one's own cards from time to time! C'mon, you can admit it! LOL All of these images were Dustin's freebies that he gives out on a weekly basis. His latest one is a turkey...you have got to go and see it...it is so funny! Until I can post again...toodles!

Well, for lack of "brand" new cards to post, I will show you the cards I made for a recent Studio G challenge over on Paper Craft Planet. We were allowed to enter as many times as we wanted in the 2 week time limit. I didn't win this one, but I hope to win one someday! :) Thanks for looking and have a nice day, wherever you are! :)

Ok, I know this will only be my third post, and not too many people would be reading it, but I follow another blog that is having this AMAZING blog candy that the word just HAS to be spread about!!! It can be found here:

What generous loot that is! How very generous of Debbie to thank her readers in such a way!

No crafting tonight...

...sigh, as my space is all torn apart! DH wants to put blinds up at the windows behind my desk, so I had to clean it off (GASP!) so it could be more easily moved. I also had a shelf next to my desk that had stuff on that I needed to clear off so he could get to the windows easily. Now he's decided to make shelves on the wall as opposed to putting that self unit I had back in that spot. I'm not sure WHEN I will get back to crafting, but I hope it's soon! :)

Taking the plunge!

Well, I've FINALLY taken the plunge and started a blog! I've been debating about it for awhile now, wondering if I would be able to make that kind of commitment; but I figured since it's mine, I can post as often as I want to, or as little as I have time for! I'm not sure how this will all work out, but I'm hoping it will!
