Excited!!!!

I finally got a chance to enter the Bugaboo challenge over on Papercraft Planet and CDAC last week...and guess what? My card was randomly picked as a winner! WOOT! WOOT! I really liked this card when I made it, but didn't expect it to be a winner. I won five digis from Bugaboo, and let me tell ya, it took me HOURS to make my decision! Jodie's images are just so dang cute! Of course, I couldn't resist the Christmas images, so be expecting to see some of those in times to come. Jodie also gives out a freebie every Friday...yes, EVERY Friday! Anyone who hasn't checked out Jodie's images yet really should!! :)

Well, thanks for having a look at my blog today! Enjoy whatever you're doing with the rest of your day!

  3. ooooooooooooh, lucky duck!!! congrats on your win--can't wait to see what you make with your prizes! btw, this card is totally ADORABLE! ♥

as for tips on placing circles around the edge of a card for a border... hmmmm... i have to confess that i'm a lazy old thing who rarely measures, so i just "eyeballed" mine; but it occurs to me that it'd be easy enough to scribe a little line 1/2" or so inside of the card's outer edge and use it to achieve a uniform depth. one tip i can provide is to place the adhesive on the card and stick the circles to *IT* rather than the other way around; also when they were all on there i sewed another large patterned paper circle on the back of the card to securely sandwich the "scallops" b/c in my experience small parts glued to the edges of anything have a sworn mission to ESCAPE as soon as they leave your sight! :) :) :)
