Good (late) evening!

Just wanted to pop in and share a couple of cards I made (fairly) recently. The ornaments came from a dollar store garland I disassembled. I bought several! The pink scalloped oval is made of foam, and I added some score lines on both cards to accent the sentiment. Not much else to say, really, so thanks for looking and take care! :)

Hello all!

Just popping in really quickly tonight to share another card for the Christmas list with you. This one is made with an image from Softpencil...CUTE digis are found here! Check out Elizabeth's work, if you haven't already!
This image is called "Michu in Santa's Bag". I love it! So stinkin' cute! This is the first time I tried to make a calico cat too...I hope it looks OK!
Well, like I said before, just a quicky post tonight, as I have been up and going since about 3 o'clock this morning...I am TIRED!!!! Before I forget, I am also entering this card into the Creative Inspirations challenge 47. Thanks for looking and until next time...TOODLES!!

Good evening!

I know, it's been awhile. I have to say that Farmville is very addicting. That's all I have to say about that. I HAVE been making cards in my cyber-absence...trying to get ready for Christmas, as I'm sure we all are! I won't post them all at once, cuz that would just take too much of everyone's time...mine too! So, I did make this one last night for the current challenge over at Whimsie Doodles. I know I'm squeaking it in darn near to the last minute...again! I am good at that! Hehe... I can't seem to find this image on the Whimsie site to tell you it's name, but you can tell it's cute! I colored it with Sharpies, Bics and Sakura Gelly Roll pens. And all the other card-making friends are here...Nesties, punches, ink, LOL. Well, best get this linked up for the challenge. Thanks for having a look, and until next time...TOODLES!

And the baby girl card...

This was made for a woman who works across the street from the store, who has just become a grandma. I really only have one set of stamps for babies, so I apologize if you have seen this dress before. I decided to keep the LO simple, just dry embossing the top, and putting some DP on the bottom, with a ribbon to cover the seam. I made the flowers myself using my Blossom Nesties, felt and brads. It's very hard to see the sentiment, but it's from the same Fiskars set as the dress. Well, I thank you all for looking , and until next time, TOODLES!!

The leaves...

are falling...right into our pool! This time of year makes it very hard to keep them all OUT of the pool, but I digress...I know ya"ll haven't come here to hear about our leaf troubles! So how about a leaf card? Oak leaves specifically. This digi is the free stamp for the month of September over at Delightful Inspiration. How cute is that wreath? I used my Bic Mark-Its and Sharpies to color the leaves. The mat for my image is cut from some cork I bought at a discount store...LOVE this stuff! Now I wish I had bought more rolls of it! Hindsight is always 20/20, so they say. The strip of DP down the left side is from K & Co. The sentiment I used is a bunch of separate little stamps to make up different phrases like the one I chose here. AND believe it or not, I actually made this card before the deadline for Faith's challenge, LOL. Well, I may be back with a baby girl card to share later today...until then TOODLES!

A few cards...

that I made over my "mojo hiatus". That adorable little mouse is a digi from Meljen's Designs. I've had this card done for a couple of months now...maybe I should send him off somewhere? :) Now as for the basset hound, he is a Tiddly Inks digi...isn't he the cutest? As soon as I saw him, I knew what I would use him for...my MIL's birthday card. When I first met Chad, his parents had four bassets. Now only Lucy is left, but they have added two little weiner dogs to the family. Now, the lion is an acrylic stamp from an Autumn Leaves set called Mindy's Zoo. This card was made for a friend's baby shower. I don't know if anyone may remember me mentioning my coworker Heather and her four sisters? How Heather has a girl, and how three of her sisters each have a girl? Well, the last sister to get pregnant is having a BOY!!! Ironically, Heather is also now pregnant with her second child, and we keep teasing her at work now that her sister has broken the cycle, she will have a boy too. Time will tell. Anyhow, I just wanted to post these cards, so until next time...TOODLES!!

HELLO!

Hi everyone! I'm sure some of you may have wondered what happened to me the last few months...to tell the truth, I'm not really sure, but I know my mojo left me high and dry. I've just now started getting back into making cards (for Christmas)...I made for birthdays along the way, but other than that, I just didn't have much desire to make cards. {GASP!!} Our internet connection hasn't been that great lately either, so I was lucky if I even read any emails. When I had a chance I would breeze thru some when we took the laptop to a free wi-fi place, but didn't really have a chance to stop by too many blogs or make comments. Sorry for that, my friends! Also, I vowed I would spend more time in the pool this summer, which I did, so I have a nice tan on my upper half, LOL! Whew, what a bunch of excuses! Seriously, tho, the lack of mojo was disheartening... :( I'm hoping once things start to settle into a more "normal" routine (eg. kids back in school), that I will find more time in my day to carve out for making cards. Thanks for visiting, and hope to see you soon! TOODLES!

Hello!

Just popping by with another quickie post to show ya another recent card. Here's one that is more in keeping with the current season, lol. This digi is another from Tiddly Inks, called 3 for you. I had intended this card to be for Mother's Day, but somehow it never made it anywhere...oops. Guess I'll have to find another purpose for it. :) I colored it with my Bics, Sharpies, and gel pens. The colors of the paper might look a bit off...the scalloped circle and the ribbon are actually green. Anyway...I thank you for visiting l'il ole me, and please come visit me again. Until next time...TOODLES!!

Just a quick one...

to share one of the cards I made recently. I had been inspired by THIS card on SCS for awhile now, but it just took me a long time to make my version of it. I obviously changed a thing or two from the original, but I like how it turned out. No stamping at all on this one, as the snowman is recycled from a "generic" card I was filling out (and goofed!) a couple years ago. Well, thanks for visiting, and until next time...TOODLES!!

A Whimsie image for their FIRST ANNIVERSARY!

Whimsie Doodles is celebrating it's first anniversary this month...to celebrate, they had a blog hop, and a card challenge that ends tonight. Look at me waiting until (almost!) the last minute!!! And isn't this image just too cute? And funny! My kids love this one...they already wanna know who it's for, LOL! I had alot of fun coloring this one up with a combo of Bic Mark-Its, Sharpies and a couple of gel pens. I mounted the image on a Spellbinder's scalloped oval made from foam. I am soooo lovin' the foam! The white CS was embossed with a Sizzix folder, and I used a circle punch to "ticket punch" the corners as best I could. I used a sparkle-y wired ribbon underneath the image. Well, I best stop yakkin' and get this post done and linked up for my chance to win! Good luck to all who enter! :) TOODLES!!!
