Hello friends, and welcome back to my blog for my second post today! This month at Christmas Crafts All Year Round (CCAYR, for short), we are looking for cards/projects made with Family or Friends in mind. Here is mine:
I used this adorable Bugaboo image from the Snowman Set 02. This image is truly one of my favorites...I mean, how much cuter can you get than these two friends? 😀 I colored the image using alcohol markers, and added white gel pen highlights for some interest. For that Christmas card glow, I added Diamond Stickles to the shadowed areas around the sides of the snowman, to the ground, and to the snowflakes. I die cut the image using Labels One from Spellbinders, and cut a mat from the olive green cardstock using the Scalloped Layers One. I took my colors from the lovely patterned paper that comes from the Winter Berry 8.5x11 paper pad that I got at Hobby Lobby. SO many pretty papers in this pad! In the lower right and upper left corners, I added 3 red satin finish sequins that came from the Merry Mint Sparkle Blend from the Sparkle Blend shop on Etsy. If you love unique sequin blends, you really need to check out this shop! The sentiment comes from the Winter Hugs set by Simon Says Stamp, and I stamped it with Versafine Clair Nocturne. The cardstock and papers are all adhered flat, while the image is popped up on foam tape.
