Hey friends! So nice to have you stop by again today! I'm here to share my card for this week's coloring challenge at the Colour Crazy Challenge blog:
This week's sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps, which you should ALL KNOW by now is one of my absolute favorite digi stamp companies! 😍😍😍 I'm pretty sure I have made more cards using Bugaboo images than I have any others, including "real" stamps! I just can't get enough, especially when they are as cute as this snowman and his bird friend, which come from the Snowman Set 02. This set is chock-full of cute snowman images and sentiments, you really can't go wrong!
I colored my printed image with mostly Copics, and the brown Prismacolor marker I used to color the snowman's arms. White gel pen was added for more details, and the snow on the ground got a heavy coating of a really chunky Stickles glitter glue. I also added some of the Stickles to the outer edges of the snowman. This chunky Stickles shows up really well in pictures!
The patterned paper and pink cardstock come from an un-named 8.5x11 pack of Christmas paper by Recollections. The pink wasn't quite the same shade as I used to color his hat, so to remedy that, I took the darkest marker that I used (RV14) and went around the edges of the die cut layers. Voila -- It worked! My sentiment comes from last year's Stamptember collaboration set from Clearly Besotted and Simon Says Stamp, and was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, using my MISTI.
