Now that that's out of the way, let me show you the card I made in a record amount of time:
This cute image is called Reindeer Besties Doll 2, and I really enjoyed coloring it! I started the card off by picking the patterned paper, which comes from the Winter Wonderland 8.5x11 paper pad from Hobby Lobby. So pretty. Then I die cut it using the largest die in Spellbinders Card Creator set B. After that, I did some image sizing using the Silhouette program. After printing it out, I die cut the image with the 3rd largest die in the Card Creator Set A. Then I got down to the business of coloring with alcohol markers; using a combo of Copics, Prismacolor markers, and Spectrum Noir. I'd say the only part I had some issues with were her pants; using such dark reds was scary! I drew my own ground line for the image so they wouldn't be floating in mid-air.
I cut a dark red mat for the image panel, keeping it pretty close so that the patterned paper would show more. The sentiment comes from the Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holidays set, and I stamped it in Rhubarb Stalk Memento ink using my MISTI. The patterned paper is adhered down flat, and the image panel is popped up on foam tape. And, for that special sparkle that EVERY Christmas card must have, I added Diamond Stickles to the deer's wings(?), and all the snow. The white parts of her coat have sparkle added by clear Wink of Stella pen, and I also used white gel pen for the deer's spots, and to add texture to her pompom.
